Here’s how you can get started with this website idea. Go around to all your local restaurants and buy lunch or dinner. While finishing your meal, you can ask to speak to the manager or owner of the restaurant. Let them know that you want to list their restaurant for free on your website and ask them if they want to write up a short description that would be exclusive for you and your website. This is important if you are at all concerned about generating unique content that search engines love. If you simply use a description that is not unique and is copied from their own website or advertisements, then you can be penalized for duplicate content and your entire website could be flagged as spam. A second thing you can add to your website so that you ensure more content comes along as your website grows, is to add a reviews and comments feature so that others who have visited the restaurant can tell about their personal experience as well. Finally, you may wish to add a forum to the website where users can freely engage in chat about the entire restaurant scene, post food related jobs, etc. This could be a further income stream for you as you charge for job listings down the road as well.

Which web host you choose is by far one of the most important things to consider when creating a website. Many poorly run web hosts come and go while others stay around for a long time and continue to impress it’s clients. Good web hosts are few and far between. Wouldn’t it be nice if there was a website that was devoted to informing you of the latest news and updates regarding which web hosts were getting the best reviews? This would make for a great website idea if you are someone who is learned in this area or if you are someone who has the time to browse all of the major discussion forums to find out who is pleasing their web hosting clients and who is turning them off. You’d have to browse forums like Sitepoint, Namepros, and Digitalpoint on a monthly basis to query and report on what web hosts are doing their job and doing it well. This report would be an invaluable resource to all new webmasters who are looking for a place to call home for their new website. And, it would surely make for a great website idea.

If you’ve ever tried to hire someone to design your website, you may know just how hard it is to sift through all the competetion to find someone who will create the you a design that you love without costing you an arm and a leg. Well, thanks to the internet itself there’s a much better way to get a web design done that works much better for you as the consumer. There are plenty of hungry designers out there waiting on the edge of their seat to capture your business. And, when they all come together to submit drafts for you in a forum it is amazing how many different mockups you can choose from without costing you a penny. Web designers will submit entries into a competetion you create and you give them feedback as they all compete to give you just the design you’re looking for. This is by far the most efficient and cost effective way for you to get a web design done. It may not be the most profitable way for designers to find jobs as they only get paid if they submit the best design, but it’s nevertheless becoming popular more and more these days. Web Designers all over the world can be summoned to create web designs of the same quality as the most prestigious design shops for a fraction of the cost. Where am I going with this? The website idea is to simply create a website devoted to bring together these two parties. Create a forum based website where visitors can submit specifications for a web design that they need done and facilitate the contest by holding the prize money and delivering it to the web designer who wins the contest. This might require some time and trust that you need to develop, but it’s by far the best way to manage such a site. You see designers will take a contest much more seriously if they know they will be paid and that the client will not bail out at the end of the contest without paying. You can act as the prize money holder and pay the winner promptly. This web design service that you will provide may just become the next big thing, so get started and run with this idea before somebody else does.
