Community Website for Telecommuters and Employers

So, here’s an idea for anyone else out there that is super excited about the idea of working from home and also helping others work from home. The website idea would involve creating a community based website primarily for job seekers and employers to find one another. The website might also include articles that describe things like software that employees can use to collaborate and work with other co-workers remotely. Additionally, you might want to have job listings and a forum where workers can discuss their experiences working from home.
Why am I so excited about this idea? Because I for one just love being able to work at home where I have all the comforts and privacy that only home provides.
Also, with gas prices rising at an alarming rate, I think working remotely will start to look more and more like a good idea for employers looking to reduce cost and attract the best most highly trained workers from around the world. Let me explain this. Why would this reduce cost for employers? Less office space and fewer onsite computers to maintain for employees is where the savings come from. Why would employers have more highly trained workers? Because when employers advertise their job opening to the whole world rather than their local city, they can find workers that already know the technologies and software programs that you require your employee to know.
How might you profit from this website? That’s easy. You can always go the simple route and open and Adsense account that automatically shows ads relevant to your website’s content. In this case, the ads would probably show up for job listing websites and computer software like Go To My PC. So, that’s my latest website idea for you to take and run with. If you like this idea like I do, and wish to leave a comment, I always love to hear what others have to say about my website ideas.

Happy Telecommuting.
